Synopsis

A Hot Holiday Romance

On the first night of Christmas, her sexy crush finally gave to her—an unbelievably hot night! Now she’s ready for nights two, three and four… Unwrap the steamy sequel to Getting Dirty by Rachael Stewart.

I’ve lusted after brawny, gorgeously rough Jackson Black for six lust-fueled, unrequited years. But Jackson has rules, and the big one is “no getting involved with clients” of his elite London sex club. Including me. But our best friends are getting married, and for one deliciously hot night, the maid of honor and best man agree…what happens in the Scottish Highlands, stays in the Scottish Highlands.

It was everything I wanted and more…until the complete jerk disappears during the night.

Now it’s Christmas, and I have a plan to prove to Jackson Black just how much I don’t care, that he doesn’t turn me on like a Christmas tree. Only Operation: Naughty Elf is backfiring big-time. That aching need for his touch is stronger than ever. It’s painfully clear that I want more than just a fling from the untouchable Jackson Black.

I have one chance to unwrap the best man. But is this sexy, guarded grinch about to steal my heart…or break it?

Take control. Feel the rush. Explore your fantasies—Harlequin DARE publishes sexy romances featuring powerful alpha males and bold, fearless heroines exploring their deepest fantasies.

Review

When Cait and Jackson agree to a no-strings fling at their friends' wedding, there's no way things will go back to how they were before.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is a sequel to Getting Dirty, but I thought it worked very well as a stand-alone, and I wasn't at a disadvantage for not reading the previous book. That said, I am now keen to read Coco's story!

Cait has been hooked on Jackson for six years. He's the owner of her favourite sex club "Blacks", and has a firm rule of not sleeping with the clients. But they're not in London anymore, and Cait might finally get her way.

Jackson knows he's no good for Cait, but as she keeps pushing him, he agrees to a one-night stand, as long as no one hears about it.

Unfortunately, the fling affects them both in different ways.

This is a very hot little book with mild BDSM.

It starts with some very intense scenes, jumping straight into the post-wedding party, with Cait and Jackson coming to their agreement.

Followed by them avoiding each other in the run up to Christmas.

There's more to their story than just sex.

I liked the Christmas theme, and how different Cait and Jackson's families are. I was surprised how touching I found the scene with Cait's family.

I thought Jackson's background was done really well, how it was unraveled near the end, and treated respectfully.

I thought the final scene was a little cheesy, but I gotta confess that I liked that too!

I really enjoyed this festive treat, and I look forward to reading more of this author's work.
